Building a Successful Cyber Program to Include Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Siloed management of governance, risk, and compliance is often the norm in an organization. They are three unique subjects, so we need three departments, right? Well, that’s not exactly true. There is a strong enough relationship between them that these can be controlled under one department with proper management.

Governance, risk, and compliance are related and need each other to succeed. They cannot be managed as separate concerns. When an organization designs its organizational structure to keep these concerns separate, each area will be less effective.
