Position Description

The Associate Security Program Manager ensures effective delivery and execution of GreyCastle services in-line with contractual requirements and client expectations. The Security Program Managers (SPMs) are responsible for ensuring client programs have established delivery teams, program and project plans, maintaining project health, and for successful project delivery.

Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage service delivery for individual projects and multi-year managed contracts.
  • Ensure delivery is in-line with contract and client expectations, including budget, resource assignment, and project hourly estimates.
  • Manage multiple program and project schedules including:

    o Milestones

    o Deliverables

    o Timeline

  • Lead, coordinate, and plan client facing meetings including:

    o Initialization calls

    o Status calls

    o Close out calls

  • Work collaboratively with multiple service teams and other departments, including business development, finance, marketing, and business intelligence.
  • Expertly utilize project management software for contract and project management, including planning and reporting
  • Act as main point of contact for all types of client engagements (Program & Project)
  • Utilize industry best practices (PMI), techniques, and standards throughout entire project life cycle
  • Ensure program and project scope are actively managed and maintained
  • Management and reporting of key metrics for quality and performance
  • Oversee and manage project execution throughout the entire project lifecycle

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  • 0-3 years of project management or coordination experience
  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or relevant Industry Certification (CAPM, Six Sigma)
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Ability to perform risk management to minimize project risk
  • Experience with MS Office, Mavenlink and other PMO tools
  • Will require candidates to obtain position specific certification (ITIL, PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma or equivalent)
