Position Description

To support our mission, the Practice Director, Cybersecurity Operations works to ensure products and solutions are relevant, aligned across the business, properly engineered to address client and prospect needs, and provides clear value.

The Practice Director oversees solutions and product management where cybersecurity is inherently proactive, always positioned to eliminate future threats, with the common purpose of establishing cybersecurity readiness to protect our clients against ever-emerging cyber threats.

  • General Objectives

    • Solution Representation, for which Marketing conveys
    • Solution Alignment, for which Business Development represents
    • Solution Representation, for which Marketing conveys Solution Execution, for which Services delivers
    • Solution Applicability, for which clients find value
  • Solution Engineering

    • Aligns products and solutions to directly address client and prospect challenges.
    • Works with Service delivery teams to ensure understanding of client expectations and clarity of key outcomes in delivery.
    • Supports Business Development and Services to ensure client expectations are clearly defined, aligned and delivered upon.
    • Prepares appropriate proposal and project documentation necessary to accurately scope and price solutions and services.
  • Product Management

    • Evaluates the effectiveness and value of products and makes recommendations to ensure products stay relevant in the market.
    • Builds and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support creation and maintenance of product collateral.
    • Creates and maintains product information.
    • Coordinates new product development and buildouts.
    • Collaborates with business units, as required, including Business Development, Services, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance and others to ensure products and solutions are created, maintained and delivered in-line with business requirements.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities for a team of 5 or more people. This position’s responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education and Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Demonstrated track record of building business
  • Proven and verifiable history in increasing sales to meet benchmarks and company goals
  • Master’s degree or equivalent combination of Bachelor’s degree and experience
