Position Description

The Client Relationship Specialist generates new business from existing clients, ensures client loyalty and advocacy and acts as the primary liaison between GreyCastle Security and its clients. The Client Relationship Manager participates in Business Development activities and works to ensure that sales goals are met.

  • Actively identifies, develops and closes new opportunities with existing clients
  • Maintains or exceeds sales quotas, contributing to Business Development’s overall goals
  • Proactively measures and nurtures client loyalty and satisfaction and implements plans to ensure both
  • Provides client advocacy and ensures that client needs are understood
  • Assists Solutions Advisors in messaging Managed Client benefits, when necessary
  • Provides primary point-of-contact (PoC) services to clients
  • Conducts regularly scheduled Quarterly Security Reports (QSRs) with clients
  • Communicates sales performance, projections, plans, issues and other information to key personnel to ensure effective management of clients
  • Communicates independently, effectively, clearly, and professionally with clients, employees, supervisors and managers to establish and maintain considerate and cooperative relationships
  • Maintains client, opportunity and other information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other systems
  • Maintains job and industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade publications

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of Business Development or Account Management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications and principles
