New MDR Partnership Announced

Posted May 17th, 2023

Threat actors are collaborating to attack. It only makes sense for defenders to collaborate in return. This week, DeepSeas LLC and GreyCastle Security LLC announced a strategic partnership. GreyCastle has chosen DeepSeas as its provider of managed detection and response (MDR) services. DeepSeas technical controls combined with GreyCastle advisory and risk consultation will ensure clients can prioritize investments and measure progress against cyber frameworks and controls.

“We’re a trusted leader in cyber security strategy and preparedness, and we embrace the fact that our customers expect us to bring forth effective solutions that best suit their needs, now and into the future,” said Dan Kalil, CEO of GreyCastle Security. “To that point, we’ve worked closely with DeepSeas for over a year, and now is the right time to launch this partnership. DeepSeas MDR+ aligns well with our offerings and we’re proud to be partnered with them.”

Together, this partnership will serve as a force multiplier to always be one step ahead of attackers in the cyber kill chain. When threat attackers come to an organization defended by DeepSeas and GreyCastle Security, they are more likely to move on to a lesser defended target.

“DeepSeas Managed Detection and Response solution, which we call MDR+, relies on an initial line of high fidelity, interactive threat detection and response capabilities, with the primary detection response tool being endpoint detection and response,” said Mike Johnson, VP of Partners & Alliances at DeepSeas. “High speed security event log search and reporting then add the critical context and incident response lookback support, while Machine Learning-powered threat hunting provides advanced threat visibility in even the most hostile environments.”

GreyCastle Security CEO, Dan Kalil and DeepSeas CEO, Chris Esemplare hosted a joint webinar on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 to further discuss the new partnership and the DeepSeas MDR+ solution. Watch it below.
